OnePlus has been steadily promoting that they are working on a screen that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, and now thanks to a leaked photo taken by True-Tech, they have released what appears to be OnePlus 8 Pro , where based on the screenshot we are seeing, it appears that the 120Hz screen has been confirmed.
OnePlus has never stated which phone will receive the 120Hz display, but it was always a safe assumption that it would most likely find its way into the OnePlus 8 series.
Also, what’s interesting is that the photo also shows that users will have the option of adjusting the refresh rate of their screen.
They will be able to choose between the 120Hz refresh rate, or go below 90Hz or even 60Hz.
These options will help users maintain better battery life, where it is believed that a faster refresh rate will undoubtedly have a higher battery cost compared to a slower refresh rate.
Thus, we are not sure if the 120Hz refresh rate display will be exclusive to the OnePlus 8 Pro, which will presumably be the top-level model, or if it will be applied across the line, but may be a way of distinguishing between models.
