In 2019 we saw the first 5G smartphones come on the market, but unfortunately, it was pretty quiet in the tablet scene.
However, if you are in the market for a 5G tablet, you may be interested to know that Samsung has confirmed that in the first quarter of 2020, the company will launch what they are calling the world’s first 5G tablet.
This comes in the form of Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G which will be initially launched in South Korea.
In terms of specifications, the tablet will be almost the same as the regular version of the Galaxy Tab S6, with the 5G connection being the main difference.
It’s all about using a 10.5-inch 2560 × 1600 display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It will also be available in 6 GB or 8 GB RAM options, and also with 128 GB or 256GB of storage.
