Misconception about cardio you should ignore and why

All around, there are several old-wives’ tales about exercise, and the last thing you need is misinformed beliefs about exercise which might eventually prevent you from working out.

Below is the misconception about cardio that you should immediately disregard.

You need at least 20 minutes of cardio for your workout to count: it is important to know that just 10 minutes of continuous cardio exercise is enough to give you the benefits of working out.

According to exercise physiologists and trainers, you can even get the benefits of exercise through High-Intensity Interval Training, in which you alternate brief bursts of exercising at an intense pace followed by intervals of working out at a slower pace.

Some of the cardio exercises include jogging, running, cycling or even swimming.
