Neither the iPhone 11 nor the Samsung Galaxy S10 are among the top three best-selling phones.
Market research company Counterpoint Research has released a list of top-selling smartphones for the third quarter of 2019.
Apple’s iPhone XR is in the lead with a three percent share of global sales. The handset was able to defend the top spot for the fourth consecutive quarter.
In second place is the mid-range model Samsung Galaxy A10 (2.6 percent), A50 (1.9 percent) in third place.
Manufacturer Oppo, which is particularly strongly represented in Asia, comes in fourth with A9 (1.6 percent), compared to Apple’s iPhone 11.
Overall, Samsung is represented three times in the top ten.
